Let me take you back in time to the 1790’s,
you are now in the nation’s first capital (Philadelphia , Pennsylvania ).
The yellow fever epidemic is about to break out and separate a teenage girl from her mother .
The citizens don’t know, and what they don’t know is fatal .
So be careful not to get sick as you ride along in this exciting history novel .

P.S. if you don’t like to read anything sad, then you probably shouldn’t read this book, but if you think you can handle it; I highly recommend it.

This book is for people that like adventure.
This story is about two boys in the woods, who come to have a strong relationship,
then they are seperated. The characters in this story are dynamic, because their actions and opinions change as the story progresses. Even though the boys were from different backgrounds, they were able to teach each other valuable lessons.

If you are interested in stories about survival, then this is the book for you. This book is about survival in the wilderness as well as surviving secrets that destroy families. The main character is a dynamic character, because he is changed from being a helpless city boy to someone who knows how to survive many obstacles in the wild. This is a really good book. I would reccomend it to other young people. This book is on the local book list for 5th graders, but my mother read it and enjoyed it too.
