My 10th Birthday....

I invited a small group of friends to celebrate my big day.

We made candies....

... and crawfish-spinach pizzas.

We played....

...and made snow balls.

After we ate, I got to make my own "Brownie a la Mode"

It contained everything BUT and the kitchen sink!!!

This was definitely one Birthday I will never forget.

P.S. Thank you Miss Linda(owner of the Passionate Platter), for hosting a wonderful party.

My Latest Ponderings....

As we sat having dinner at IHOP, my mind wandered as it often does.
I began to ponder the cubic volume of milk that I had consumed.
My parents and I had a long talk about our differing strategies to solve the problem. At one point the manager of the store came over to ask us what we were doing.
We had a great time, but couldn't agree on a strategy.

When we got home, Mom took out one of her old text books.

Dad searched the net for clues.

I simply began to write down everything we knew for sure....

....in order to come up with a logical solution.

****We never found out if our answers were correct, but thanks to one of the bright young men at our church, we found out that Mom was on the right track. I also learned that I really don't have to worry about problems like this until I'm in Calculus!

My pictures are playing hide and seek today!

This was our car packed up for Gustav...Our poor rabbit is in there somewhere! We created a new picture trail, but I'm not sure why it has decided that it will not post in the "post" section. It seems that it likes the very bottom of this blog today. The good news is all you have to do is scroll down to the bottom and all of the pictures will stay put. They won't scroll away with new posts. The trail we have created is just a few pics of our annual "hurrication." This was our Gustav Get- away. We visited relatives & friends in Ala. Considering the circumstances we had a good time.
